Subclass 190

In line with Home Affairs' direction, NSW will only invite applicants who are currently residing in NSW.
NSW State Sponsor (Subclass 190) continues to focus on Health, IT, and Engineering occupations.

During an invitation round, EOIs are ranked within an occupation code in order of:

1. Point score

2. English proficiency

3. Years of skilled work experience in your nominated occupation

Eligibility

Along with regular eligibility criteria, you need to meet one of the following 2 criteria:

  • Currently employed in NSW where your employment meets the standard for claiming Skilled employment in your nominated occupation, or

  • Have genuinely resided in NSW for a minimum period of 3 months
