Government assistance for Temporary and Provisional Visa holders

Commonwealth Government has announced a range of assistance for temporary and provisional visa holders impacted by coronavirus (COVID-19). Following are a few of the major benefits that have been announced:

​1. Job Seekers

Victorian government has established an initiative to help jobseekers to find new opportunities. If you have Australian working rights, you can register to work for Victoria through this link: https://www.vic.gov.au/workingforvictoria

 

2. Renters

If you're affected by COVID-19, you may be eligible for rent relief. This newly passed law will be in effect from   29th March 2020 for 6 months. Residential and commercial tenants who find financial hardship due to coronavirus, the government has announced rent relief grants. Visit the following site for more detail:

3. Childcare

6. Temporary early release of superannuation
