The Business & Skilled Migration Queensland (BSMQ) nomination program is now open from Tuesday, 29 September 2020 until Monday, 5 October 2020.
Please note that only decision-ready applicants in a COVID-19 priority area and onshore applicants in Queensland will be considered.

Qualifications to be nominated:

High-quality applications related to COVID-19 economic recovery

Product investment and job creation businesses

Businesses with regional investment focus within the business program
Priority processing for
Subclass 132 – Significant Business History stream
Subclass 188 – Business Innovation Stream
Subclass 188 – Significant Investor stream
Subclass 188 -- Entrepreneur Stream
Skilled Program
- BSMQ will only nominate applicants critical to the effort in response to COVID-19 pandemics, such as:
Medical services
- Maintaining the supply of essential goods and services
Delivering services in sectors critical to Australia’s economic recovery
Priority processing for
Subclass 491 -- Small business owners pathway application
Subclass 190 who have worked in the nominated occupation in Queensland for at least 6 months and have a job offer for 12 months
Subclass 491 – who have worked in their nominated occupation in the regional area of Queensland for at least 3 months and have a job offer for 12 months
