3 Month Work Experience Exempted for Medical and Health Professionals
Medical and healthcare graduates from South Australia who are living and working in South Australia in their nominated or closely related occupation in SA (minimum 40 hours per fortnight) are exempt from the requirement of three months of work experience.
Applications seeking a work experience exemption will only be eligible for a conditional 491 Visa nomination.
🔷 190 nomination eligibility
Medical and health professionals* who have worked in their designated or closely related occupation for the last 12 months (minimum 20 hours per week) in South Australia (or for the last 6 months in their designated or closely related occupation (minimum 20 hours per week) in a South Australian country area remain eligible for a permanent 190 visa.
🔷 5 Years Work Experience Requirement lifted for Registered Nurses
For Registered Nurse who has been working in their occupation or closely related occupation in South Australia, the 5 years’ work experience has been removed.
A minimum of 65 points is expected for medical and health professionals* currently employed in their designated or closely related occupation in South Australia, including state-appointment points and competent English.
