189 Invitation Round Update (Skilled Independent Visa)

12000+ invitations were issued in the August round for Subclass 189 and subclass 491 (Family sponsored regional visa). Albeit disquieting for some onshore applicants, this has been the biggest invitation round since the start of the Pandemic. Most the invitations issued were to Offshore applicants with targeted industry. Occupants from Health and Trade industries received most of the invitations. A 189 invitation round happened on 21 April 2022. Our clients received invitations. So far, we have seen invitations for Early Childhood (Pre-primary School) Teacher & Secondary School Teacher with 90 points and University Lecturer with 80 points. Also Registered Nurses, Biotechnologist, Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologists received invitations.

Find the invited occupations (For subclass 189) and the lowest invited points for each of them:
A lot among these occupations are in-demand across Australia for state nomination. There has been consistent PR invitations with limited required points. You can possibly acquire a positive skills assessment for few of these occupations just by completing an eligible 2 years Diploma course. For example, Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction design course can make you eligible to apply as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson or a Civil Engineering Technician. These courses start from $11,000 per year.

There are different pathways for nursing. There are various pathways you may follow to become an Australian Registered Nurse. Along with Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse also is in high demand across multiple states.
