ree

The Tasmania Skilled Graduate Pathways (TSG) offers international graduates who have completed their studies in Tasmania the opportunity to apply for skilled migration under Subclass 190 or 491 visas. This pathway is designed to retain skilled talent in Tasmania, supporting the state’s long-term workforce and regional development goals.

Before registering your interest, it’s essential to understand the minimum requirements, priority attributes, and required documents for each visa subclass under the Tasmania Skilled Graduate Pathways.

Understanding the Tasmania Skilled Graduate Pathways (TSG)

The TSG pathway allows international graduates who have studied full-time and on-site in Tasmania to apply for nomination through either:

  • Subclass 190 – Skilled Nominated Visa (Permanent)

  • Subclass 491 – Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa

These pathways recognise graduates who have demonstrated a genuine commitment to Tasmania by completing their studies and residing in the state.

Subclass 190 – Tasmanian Skilled Graduate Pathway

PhD candidates who did not complete undergraduate studies in Tasmania are also eligible after two years of PhD study and residence in the state.
