BSMQ Business Program is open from 10 December 2020 but QLD Government will first be assessing EOI’s submitted from the interim quota from 29 September – 05 October 2020 then 6 October – 9 December 2020.
Business Program
BSMQ Business program will give high priority to applicants who occupation is related to COVID-19 economic recovery, or the business that will help the productive investment and create more jobs.
Priority processing for
Subclass 132 – Significant Business History Stream
-
A lawfully acquired net value of at least AUD1.5M.
-
An annual business turnover of at least AUD3M for at least 2 of the last 4 financial years immediately before you are invited to apply.

A total net assets of at least AUD400,000 as the ownership of the interest in one or more qualifying business for at least 2 of the las 4 financial years immediately before you are invited to apply.
Subclass 188 – Business Innovation Stream

Score at least 65 on the points test.

Provide proof of your business success with annual turnover, ownership stake.

You/your partner, or together must have a total net business and personal assets of at least AUD 800,000.
Subclass 188 – Significant Investor Stream

Be invited to apply for this visa.

Be nominated by a State or Territory government agency or Austrade to invest at least AUD 500,000 that meets certain requirements and have a genuine intention to hold that investment for at least for 4 years.

Have genuine intention to live in the State or Territory whose government agency nominates you.
Subclass 188 – Entrepreneur Stream

Undertake, or propose to undertake, a complying entrepreneur activity in Australia.

Have a funding agreement of at least AUD 200,000 to carry out entrepreneurial activity in Australia..

Show us a business plan for your entrepreneurial activity.

Have at least competent English.
You can also be eligble for Queensland Small Business Owners pathway with only $100,000 investment.

Skilled Program
BSMQ Skilled Program remain suspended, with only the occupation that is related to COVID response and recovery will be process as a priority.

If not receive an invitation before 25 December, a brand new EOI required to be submit when the program reopen in 2021 January.
