The Northern Territory government has now received its allocation of nominations under the General Skilled Migration program for 2020-21.

NT also has started to issue nomination to eligible applicants who submitted their applications before the program suspension on the 1st December.

Meet Australian Government’s standard requirements, and

Meet NT Government’s nomination eligibility, and
-
Commit to living and working in the NT within your skilled occupation for at least 3 years upon the grand of your visa.
The NT government is participating in Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (subclass 491) visa and Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa schemes.
Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (subclass 491)

Need a nomination from an Australian state or territory government such as NT government

Provisional five years allow applicants and family members to live, work and study in a regional area such as the NT
-
The applicants are expected to live, work and study in the NT for at least three years before applying for PR pathway

Applicants are subject to reporting the commitments to the Department of Home Affairs.

Need supporting documents or attend interviews to prove that the applicants are living in the regional Australia.
Skilled Nominated (subclass 190)

Need a nomination from an Australian state or territory government such as NT government
-
This is a PR visa
If nominated by the NT government, the applicant is expected to live and work in the NT for at least three years after the visa is granted.
