Victoria State and Regional Sponsor allocated places for 2021-22

  • 3,500 subclasses 190 places and,

  • 500 subclasses 491 places.

Relaxed Eligibility requirement 
Victorian Government relaxed the requirement as 𝗡𝗼 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 required and 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 for applying State/Regional sponsor.

You can lodge your ROI if you have STEMM skills in one of the Target sectors or, through the current Victorian Workforce Skills pathway which was introduced earlier this year.

Victorian Target sector

No minimum work length and casual can be considered.

Any occupations related to this sector can apply:

  • Health

  • Medical Research

  • Life Sciences

  • Digital

  • Agri-Food

  • Advanced Manufacturing

  • New energy, emissions reduction, and circular economy
     

Victorian Workforce Skills pathway

Skill gaps in Victoria are addressed through local training and recruitment. In certain instances, industries may require migration to quickly supplement the number of skilled professionals available.

To assist industry address labour shortages caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the Victorian Government has established the Hospitality pathway for highly skilled cooks and chefs.

Chef and Cook
Eligibility

You must be eligible under either the subclass 190 or subclass 491 Victorian visa nomination criteria, and be living and working in Victoria as a cook or chef.

Early Childhood Teacher

The Victorian Government is investing almost $5 billion over the decade to deliver Three-Year-Old Kindergarten. This investment will create an additional 6,000 teaching jobs across Victoria.

In partnership with the Department of Education and Training, we are accepting applications from eligible early childhood teachers for Victorian nominated skilled visas.

Eligibility

You must be eligible under either the subclass 190 or subclass 491 Victorian visa nomination criteria, and be living and working in Victoria as an Early Childhood Educator.  You must also have a relevant skills assessment as an Early Childhood (Pre-primary School) Teacher from the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership
