1. Latest Invitation round for Canberra State and Regional Sponsor

Canberra has the most frequent invitation rounds compared to other states.

Multiple Trade occupations invited started with 75 points

Popular occupations such as Social Workers, Human Resources Manager, Sheetmetal trade workers, Civil Engineering Draftperson, Early Childhood Teachers, Primary School Teachers, Pharmacists, and few other occupations receives invitation with 75 points.

Other occupations receives invitation with comparatively lesser points.

2. Canberra Critical Occupation List
Alike other states, Canberra has it's own occupation list and currently many occupations are included in the Canberra Critical Occupation list.

In the recent invitation rounds; Chef, ICT, Civil Engineers, Early Childhood teachers, Marketing specialist, Enrolled Nurse and many other occupations had consistent invitations with comparatively reasonable points.
3. ACT Matrix (Canberra State and Regional sponsor - Points Calculation)
Unlike the conventional Skilled Migration points system, Canberra has it's own Matrix called ''ACT Matrix" and a different points calculation system. For example, you can get 10 additional points just by residing in Canberra for 2 years.

Living in Southern NSW's Queanbeyan and eligible surrounding areas may make you eligible for both ACT and NSW Regional Migration.
